STriving to stamp out hunger in our community

Vision for our Mission comes from

- Matthew 25:35 - For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat.

- Mark 14:7 - The poor you will always have with you, and you can help them any time you want. But you will not always have me.

Our Mission - We are here to help the needy in our community and homeless.

Made with Love Ministry was started when there was a need that presented it's self in our congregation when someone turned in a blue connection/prayer request card stating that they were hungry and had no food. This comment touched deeply to the leaders of our church. Martha "Jo" Cobb went into action forming a group that would help our congregation and community. In April 2013, Made with Love was formed.

Made with Love provides non-perishable groceries to families in need. With the help of the congregation and MWL member's donations, we have helped hundred of families fill a need. MWL has helped other local organization provide food to children in need through local schools. During the holidays, MWL has provided complete meals to families that would not have a holiday meal to eat with their family.

We also saw a need to help the homeless in our community, so we created "Relief Bags". These bags provide a few essentials for those who are homeless have a little something to help them along. The Relief Bags are available to anyone to handout as they see a need. MWL has also done several homeless outreaches, that we would go out into the community and actually handout and minister to the homeless.

There will always be a need, Made with Love will be here to help make a difference.

Food distribution

Food Distribution is on the Thursday's from 9:30 am to 12 noon at Coast. Food is available to anyone in need. A simple form needs to be completed once a year and you are able to come as often as you need too. We will not turn anyone away.

Not able to come pickup food, you can have someone pickup food for you.

Volunteers

Made with Love Ministry meets on Thursday's at 8:45 at Coast. This is a great opportunity to do something great for your community.  This is open to anyone that would like to help make food bags and/or help with distribution. This provides a chance to minister and pray over those that are in need and hurting.
